John D. Woodland, Associate Professor of Theatre and Costume Designer for the Hilberry Theatre, holds a BA degree from
Otterbein
College
and an MFA from the
University
of
Michigan
. He has taught at
Syracuse
University
where he was an Assistant Professor of Theatre. He has also taught at the University of
Michigan
and St. Lawrence University, where he served as Chair of the Department of Theatre.
Woodland
has designed professionally at the BoarsHead Theatre,
Purple
Rose
Theatre
, Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse, and Cain Park Theatre. He is a member of the United Scenic Artists Local 829.
